As the Data Controller, SPI ENERGY SOLUTIONS performs the necessary processes to inform data subjects during the acquisition of personal data in accordance with Article 10 of the Law on Protection of Personal Data numbered 6698 and the Communiqué on Procedures and Principles to be Observed During the Fulfillment of the Disclosure Obligation.
The disclosures submitted to the data subjects pursuant to the "Policy on Protection and Processing of Personal Data" as adopted by SPI ENERGY SOLUTIONS includes the title of the company, the purposes for which the personal data of the data subjects will be processed by the Company, to whom and for what purposes the processed personal data may be transferred, the methods and legal reasons of collecting personal data, and the rights of the data subjects.
SPI ENERGY SOLUTIONS processes the personal data of individuals such as job applicants, interns, suppliers, employees of suppliers, subcontractors, employees of subcontractors, third parties and visitors, especially including employees of the Company, which are processed automatically or by non-automatic means that are a part of any data recording system, in accordance with the law and rules of honesty, in a correct and up-to-date manner when necessary, by pursuing specific, clear and legitimate objectives and for the intended purposes, and in a limited and measured manner, and takes all administrative and technical measures in this regard.
In this context, SPI ENERGY SOLUTIONS processes personal data for the purpose of conducting corporate sustainability activities, managing relations with suppliers and subcontractors, conducting personnel recruitment processes, performing internal audit activities and legal formalities, carrying out corporate governance and communication activities, managing requests and complaints, delivering information to authorized persons or entities as required by legislation, and generating and tracking visitor records. During the performance of processing activities for these purposes, if any of the conditions stipulated in the Law numbered 6698 are not satisfied, explicit consent must be obtained from the data subjects.
SPI ENERGY SOLUTIONS transfers the general and sensitive personal data of the data subjects to authorized persons, entities, and organizations in accordance with the regulations stipulated in Article 8 of the Law numbered 6698 by taking the necessary security measures. SPI ENERGY SOLUTIONS does not transfer any personal data abroad.
With respect to personal data acquired by SPI ENERGY SOLUTIONS, a data subject is entitled to know whether his/her personal data has been processed, to request information if his/her personal data has been processed, to know the purpose of processing his/her personal data and whether such data have been used appropriately for their purpose, to know the third parties to whom his/her personal data have been transferred domestically or abroad, to request rectification in case his/her personal data have been processed incompletely or inaccurately, to request deletion or destruction of personal data in accordance with the provisions of the Law numbered 6698 , to object to the occurrence of any results against himself / herself through analysis of the processed data exclusively through automated systems, and to demand the compensation of damages and losses suffered due to the unlawful processing of personal data as set out in Article 11 of the Law numbered 6698.
A data subject who wishes to exercise the above-mentioned rights may contact our Company using the "Application Form" available on the Company's website hosted at ‘www.spienergy.com.tr’ and the methods specified in this form.
An application to be filed duly by a personal data subject shall be responded by SPI ENERGY SOLUTIONS within thirty days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request.
